Geraldine Venediger

Fundraising

Geraldine joined The Talent Tap in 2021 to co-write bids to trusts and foundations, to help fund The Talent Tap. She and Hayley have established a successful partnership writing projects and funding plans for the charity sector. Prior to that she had a career in marketing and brand management for Sainsbury’s and Unilever working on a number of high profile brands and projects. The marketing skills of establishing what the consumer or beneficiary need is, and how a business or charity can demonstrate their ability to deliver that is what she brings to The Talent Tap. Geraldine also works with The Greenpower Education Trust, a STEM charity inspiring the next generation of young people into engineering through motorsport.

Hayley Richards-Jones

Fundraising

Growing up on a farm in South Wales meant Hayley was never short of opportunities to fix things, normally machinery, which unsurprisingly led to a degree in Engineering and a postgraduate diploma in Manufacturing and Management.

Her first job was designing compressors for gas plants in Nigeria, but over the course of a 12-year career with Shell, she started to focus more on solving systemic and strategic corporate problems, working in strategy, economics and business planning in The Netherlands, Malaysia and Gabon.

On returning to the UK, she was amazed to discover that the number of girls studying science at A levels and going on to be engineers was still lamentably low.  Having joined forces with Geraldine, they realised their complementary corporate skills could be used to support fundraising for the Greenpower Education Trust, an organisation dedicated to increasing the number of young people considering STEM careers.

We are looking forward to using our fundraising skills to enable The Talent Tap to grow, supporting more young people and extending the charity’s reach across the UK.
